If you are a domestic customer and only have up to 3 large items maximum to clear, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire County Council provide a service to collect them for a small fee, just contact your respective council office to arrange a collection. Also we are sorry but unfortunately we are not able to clear garden waste, soil, rubble or general builders waste or any dirty waste, hazardous chemicals and oils. Thank you……

What can we do?

Undertake full house clearances, removing items such as carpets, cookers, washing machines, bric a brac, furniture, clutter & clothes. We can also clear small commercial units and offices where we can remove old work stations, filing cabinets, desks & pedestals, chairs etc.

Licenced to carry waste

KCR Transport & Removals are fully licensed with the Environment Agency to carry waste. We strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Being conscious of the amounts going into landfill, where we can, anything that can be of use to someone such as old furniture, clothes, bric a brac etc would be taken to various charity organisations and recycling business’s, anything left would be taken to a professional commercial recycling site where they can recycle the waste further.

Don’t risk a fine..

disposing of waste properly and in an environmentally friendly way is not a cheap option. If you are offered a cheap house clearance service beware! Make sure you get a waste transfer note and make sure they are a registered waste carrier. If not it could be taken to an unlicensed site, a public tip or worse fly tipped! Then you could face penalties of up to £5,000 if it’s traced back to you.

KCR Transport & Removals can work with solicitors and agents or we can pick keys up if you are unable to be there due to other commitments. Our staff are uniformed polite and friendly.
