Frequently Asked Questions

Call us: 01283 240245

Q: How much do you charge?
A: Our general dedicated transport rates are based on mileage plus the hourly rate, our removals charges are individual as every move is different. Just call us to discuss your requirements. Upright and grand piano removals are on a fixed quote and start from £100.

Q: Are you able to do moves on weekends?
A: We always work Saturday mornings and we do not charge a premium for Saturday moves, we operate 6 days per week.

Q: I only need to move an item from one side of town to another, is that job too small?
A: No it isn’t, but we have a minimum charge of 2 hours if we have to come out specifically to do a job, this is flexible if we are already crewed up and out doing jobs and can be adjusted accordingly.

Q: Can we travel in the removal van?
A: Unfortunately no our commercial insurers will not allow this.

Q: Are you able to disassemble/assemble flat pack wardrobes?
A: Yes we can assemble/disassemble any items of furniture that need to be.

Q: What type of vehicles do you use?
A: We use Lo loader luton vans which are extra high and have air suspension which can be lowered to make access easier, both of our vehicles are the ones in the pictures throughout our website.

Q: Where will you deliver/collect?
A: Anywhere within the UK but all our jobs will be a dedicated job so you would be paying for the whole load space.

Q: I’ve been let down at the last minute. can you help?
A: Yes, we are more than happy to undertake last-minute or emergency jobs if we are able to. Having said that over recent times we do tend to get booked up for removals around 1 to 2 weeks in advanced on average so last minute bookings are not always possible for us.

Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes we have £5.000.000 public liability insurance, £10.000.000 employers liability insurance and £10.000 furniture removers insurance which a lot of man and van companies do not, they have courier goods in transit which does not cover furniture.

Q: What are your terms and conditions?
A: Our terms of business can be found on our terms and conditions page.
